10 Million Jobs

When jobs were few for the growing literacy in India and young college graduates.

Dr. Atthreya was always full of ideas. In his early career, he never felt limited by his meagre resources, but always focused on the possibilities.

He gained visibility by writing articles, as often as possible on various subjects, in the news paper.

Enterprise was a subject very close to his heart. In post independent India, jobs were few for the growing literacy in India and young college graduates, but he felt opportunities were many and not fully exploited. To this end, he set up the 10 Million Job Foundation, to identify enterprise opportunities, which would in turn create jobs. Some of the ideas shared in these columns, may no longer be unusual, especially after the Covid pandemic, which opened a floodgate of opportunities in the small enterprise service sectors. However what would be relevant for all times  is the thinking process in identifying opportunities.

Through this section, we have made available all the editions of the 10 Million Jobs news letter.
