Dr. Atthreya, was blessed with good genes. He lived  a good healthy life and was professionally active until the age of 95. During his long span of life, technology unfolded like a science fiction movie.

In 1984, he read Negroponte’s book “Media Lab”, which talked about the technology that would emerge by 2020. Although he read the book like a curious child enjoying science fiction, little did he believe that the futuristic technology written about in the book would become ubiquitous during his lifetime.

If alone today’s technology was available a decade or two earlier, Dr. Atthreya  may have taken advantage of it, to be global in his reach and influence.
